I'm a Wing novice attempting to debug a Plone application on Win XP SP 2.
Wing version 2.1.4-2, Plone version 2.1.3 [can't upgrade this app to a later
version, sorry], Zope 2.8.7, Python 2.3.5. Zope Control Panel shows that
Wing IDE is connected, and Wing status says "Debug process running." The
Zope port configured for this app is 8213.
When I enter http://localhost:8213/default/front-page into a browser
[Firefox 2 or IE 6], I get the page I expect. When I enter
http://localhost:50080/default/front-page, I instead get the Site Error
page. I've set breakpoints in Wing and the app does hit them, but the
deepest I get into the code is __bobo_traverse__() in
...\Zope\lib\python\OFS\Application.py. At this point,
path=['front-page','default'], which seems right, and 'self' contains all
the info from the ZMI that I expect to see, including the page I'm trying to
open.
I always get Site Error regardless of the page I request. What am I
missing?
