You'll probably want to set the P4PORT and P4CLIENT environment variables in 
the environment section of Project Properties.

I also had to wipe my Perforce properties directory (~/.wingide2) for it to 
recognize stuff. Be careful when wiping this directory - you can lose your 
license file...
