[wingide-users] OT: PyCon early-bird registration extended until January 15th

[Sorry, this is slightly off-topic]

I help out a little with PyCon, the annual Python developers 
conference, and thought Wing users might be interested.  PyCon is 
quite a lot of fun, and an excellent opportunity to learn more 
about Python and how it is developed.

Because PyCon is a community-organized event, it breaks out of 
the typical conference mould. There are talks but also plenty of 
opportunities for face to face discussion, lightning talks, 
birds-of-a-feather sessions, open space, and even development 
sprints (bring your laptop!).

Due to various issues with the hotel's reservation desk, the early
bird registration for PyCon has been extended until January 15th.  So
there is still a chance to register at the lower early-bird 
price.

Note: If you make hotel reservations in the near future, you may 
run into problems getting the low group rate on certain days. 
This is a problem in their reservation system that is being 
worked on -- there are still plenty of rooms available, the hotel 
deadline is Feb 1st, and we do have a contract for the lower rate 
during the entire conference and sprints that follow.
