It is possible to start via a wrapper script, as long as the wrapper
script passes all arguments to the python interpreter.  Specify the name
of the wrapper script as the python executable in project or file
properties.  Under Linux and other Unix-like systems, this can be as
simple as the following sh script:

#!/bin/sh
exec python "$@"
