You should be able to add all the needed mappings for all your 
branches to the location map preference at the same time.  Only
the relevant one will be used.  Or do they somehow conflict with 
each other?

Only the IDE / local side needs the patch.  However, if you're 
not using 2.1.1 then you will need to update the remote side to 
get the debug protocols to match.  If that's a problem, email me 
privately and I might be able to get you a patch for whatever 
version of Wing you're using.
