We're happy to announce that Wing IDE 2.0 release candidate 1 is
now available.  This will be the final prerelease for version 2.0.
It can be downloaded from:

Highlights of this release include:

* Optimized startup time, editor operations, and source browser
* CJKCodecs module included to support selected Asian encodings
* Autocompletion support for many more of the standard library
   extension modules
* Many bug fixes
