I'm using 2.0 final.

That's the one. Don't forget the fact that it doesn't remember the setting 
for auto-restart when you close the search manager and the open it again. 
There may be other settings which aren't saved - I haven't checked.

Just as easy to kill the window as it pops up again with Ctrl+F.
