[wingide-users] Search/Replace ManagerDanny Bloemendaal Danny.Bloemendaal at companion.nlFri, 27 Feb 2004 15:09:55 +0100
+1 for me. The search window is not very useful. Also, it would be nice that ctrl-f shows the text at the cursor's location as the new search text. That makes searching a lot quicker.=20 > -----Original Message----- > From: wingide-users-admin@wingide.com=20 > [mailto:wingide-users-admin@wingide.com] On Behalf Of Adi Sieker > Sent: vrijdag 27 februari 2004 15:05 > To: wingide-users@wingide.com > Subject: [wingide-users] Search/Replace Manager >=20 > Hi, >=20 > is it possible to change the behaveiour of the Search/Replace=20 > Manager I find it really annoying that as soon as I press=20 > CTRL + F the SearchManager jumps to the next occurance of the=20 > last string searched for. I would prefer IMHO "Standard"=20 > behaviour. i.e CTRL + F opens the dialog or brings it in=20 > front and then pressing the ENTER key or clicking on the Find=20 > forward will start the search. Also adding CTRL + G as a=20 > short cut to repeat last search would be nice. >=20 > Also there is one bug in the current behaviour of the search. > If I don't press CTRL+F in the SearchManager window the value=20 > in the Search text control won't be remembered. i.e. if I=20 > want to search for TestString and type this in the search box=20 > WingIDE will start an incremental search as I type if I now=20 > close the SearchManager ALT+F4 because the first occourance=20 > is found the string TestString won't be remebered. >=20 > Regards > Adi >=20 > _________________________________________________ > Wing IDE discussion list > http://wingide.com/support/forum >=20
