I wanted to encourage Wing IDE users to consider going to PyCon 2004,
the second annual developer-oriented Python conference, which will be
taking place in Washington DC March 24-26.

Mitchell Kapor, founder of Lotus and the Open Source Applications
Foundation (a heavy user of Python), will be the keynote speaker, and
Guido will do his annual State of the Python Union talk.

About 50 presentations have been accepted; these should be announced on today (or soon) and early bird discount has been extended until
Feb 22nd. Additionally, there will be time for open space discussion,
lightning talks, and just in general getting to know other Python users.

There are also several sprints planned for March 20-23 before the
conference: Python core, Docutils, Twisted, Zope3, Plone, and Chandler.

More information at:

Hope to see you there!
