Hi,
We have fixed a number of the problems with non-default Windowing Policy
and Search Manager work flow / usability that were reported on this list
last week by several users of Wing IDE 2.0b5.
These fixes have been folded into patch #5 here:
http://wingware.com/downloads/wingide/2.0.0-b5/patches
The patch should be applied by anyone using "Separate Tool Box Window"
or "One Window per Editor" Windowing Policies, and by users that want
to try out improved keyboard navigability for the Search Manager. It
can be applied to Wing IDE Professional and Wing IDE Personal, and does
not require any other patches on the above list.
The complete list of changes made by this patch are here:
http://wingware.com/pub/wingide/prerelease/2.0.0b5/bugfixes/multi-window-mega-patch.txt
Please let us know of any problems. The purpose of this patch is to
allow additional time to shake out remaining problems in windowing
policies and search manager navigability.
Thanks,
Stephan Deibel
