[wingide-users] Upgrading to Python2Robert Oschler robertoschler at hotmail.comTue, 10 Sep 2002 13:50:45 -0400
This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00C8_01C258D1.0F76FAA0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I just upgraded (added really) Python 2.2.1 to my SuSE 7.3 Pro Linux = box. I still have 2.1.1 installed so I don't break any apps that need = it. My concerns are: How can I make sure that WingIDE is using Python2 not Python, or switch = it to use Python2? Are there any risks of WingIDE "mixing libraries" between the two Python = revs? That is, are there any PATH vars, LDCONFIG changes, etc, etc that = I need to make to make sure everything runs properly? thx ------=_NextPart_000_00C8_01C258D1.0F76FAA0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4807.2300" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I just upgraded (added really) Python = 2.2.1 to my=20 SuSE 7.3 Pro Linux box.
