[wingide-users] modify local variables?

Hello all,

  Is anyone able to modify local variables?

  If yes, how?

  We do the following:

    set a break in a function
    hit the break
    use interactive debug probe to examine the variable - no problem.
    use interactive debug probe to change it - no errors and no
    change.      (eg xxx)

    The same sequence works ok with an instance variable - the
    variable gets changed.   (eg self.xxx)

    Mandrake linux 8.2
    Python 2.2.1
